Terms of Service

These terms are the deal between you and YT Video Downloader when you use the site. They're written to be readable, but they're still the rules, so please give them a proper look before you rely on the tool.

1. Agreeing to These Terms

Using the service means you accept these terms. If any part of them doesn't sit right with you, the simplest answer is to not use the site.

We may update the terms when we need to, without notice in advance. If you keep using the service after a change, that counts as accepting the new version.

2. What the Service Does

YT Video Downloader is an online converter for YouTube links. In plain terms, it lets you:

• save a YouTube video as an MP4 file
• pull the audio out as an MP3 or M4A
• pick the quality you want, from 360p up to 1080p
• do it in your browser, with no software to install

3. How You Agree to Use It

Use the service legally and sensibly. You agree not to:

• download copyrighted content you don't own and have no permission or fair-use basis to use
• break any local, national, or international law
• ignore YouTube's Terms of Service or any other terms that apply
• step on anyone else's intellectual property
• try to disrupt, overload, or break into the service or its servers
• hammer the site with bots or scrapers
• resell or build a commercial product on top of it without our written go-ahead

4. Copyright and Ownership

You're the one responsible for having the right to download and use any video you run through the tool. We don't watch, check, or control what people convert.

We take other people's copyright seriously and expect you to as well. If you think something reachable through our service infringes your copyright, tell us and we'll act on it.

The site itself, the way it works and looks, belongs to us and is protected by copyright and trademark law. The videos you convert are yours to be responsible for, not ours.

5. Availability and Changes

We do our best to keep the service running, but we can't promise it never hiccups. It may be:

• down for a while for maintenance or a technical problem
• changed, paused, or shut off at any time without notice
• limited by services we depend on, like YouTube or our hosting

We can adjust or retire any part of the service whenever we judge it necessary.

6. No Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," with no warranties of any kind. Among other things, we don't warrant:

• that it's fit for any particular purpose
• that it's always on, timely, secure, or free of errors
• that any file you get is accurate or high quality
• that every bug will be fixed

7. Limits on Liability

As far as the law allows, we're not liable for any:

• direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• lost profits, revenue, data, or time
• interruption to your work or missed opportunities
• harm from using, or not being able to use, the service
• issues from someone getting unauthorized access to your data
• claims tied to the content a user chose to process

This holds whatever the legal theory, and whether or not we were warned such damage was possible.

8. Indemnification

You agree to cover and hold harmless YT Video Downloader and the people behind it from any claim, loss, or cost (including reasonable legal fees) that comes from:

• how you use or misuse the service
• your breaking of these terms
• your stepping on someone else's rights, copyright included
• any content you download or convert here

9. Ending Access

We can suspend or end your access right away, without notice, for any reason, including breaking these terms.

Once access ends, your right to use the service stops too. The parts of these terms that are meant to outlast it, like ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and liability limits, stay in force.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, setting aside conflict-of-law rules.

Disputes are handled through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, though either side may still ask a court for an injunction or similar relief where appropriate.

11. Third-Party Services

The tool depends on outside services, YouTube included. You understand that:

• you need to follow YouTube's Terms of Service while using ours
• we're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google
• changes on their side can affect how our tool works
• we don't answer for their content, policies, or practices

12. Severability and Waiver

If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, that part gets narrowed or adjusted to come as close as the law allows to what it was meant to do, and the rest stays fully in effect.

If we don't enforce a term once, that doesn't mean we've given it up for next time.

13. The Whole Agreement

These terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, are the full agreement between you and YT Video Downloader about the service, and they replace anything agreed earlier, written or spoken.
